Message from the President
Expressions of Art is West Carleton Art Society’s premier art show and sale and has been running for more than 25 years. It has brought together artists, visitors and buyers in a celebration of creativity. A bounty of art for a Thanksgiving harvest. Held annually at the Carp Agricultural Hall (just west of Ottawa, Ontario), it features the work of approximately 30 artists from around the region. In 2019, more than 2000 visitors came through the doors.
Like many other organizations this year, we have had to pivot. Fortunately, we have a selection of juried artists who enthusiastically joined us to create a collection of exciting local and regional art, in a variety of mediums.

On behalf of the West Carleton Arts Society, I would like to thank these artists and the team that pulled this show together, led by Ginny Fobert and Lori Law, who designed the show and site we are bringing to you today. The tireless efforts of our promotions team of Pam Stewart, Cor Beattie, Leslie Morin and Robyn Lester are to be commended. And thank you, to all the volunteers who have helped like and share our posts to bring awareness to the show. The online world is a competitive one, and we appreciate all these efforts.
