Artist Bio

Native of the Ottawa-Gatineau region, drawing in high school led me to study Graphic Design at Algonquin College of Applied Arts in Ottawa. 2010 was my transition year from computer to canvas, making a career change to artist painter. Self taught, in my home studio, I work in oil or acrylics. The play of light on water often inspires me. I like to introduce persons, where the viewer imagines his/her own story. I aim for ‘Joie de vivre’ and think that art can influence your mental and physical health.

Description of artwork
Oil, acrylic, colors that I mix to get many tones, using different size brushes, I join classic & impressionist style. Tiny sketches, main shapes on canvas, “Aux carreaux” method or freehand drawing
